NEW VOLUNTEERS

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
New families -- don't hesitate to jump right in! It's awkward not knowing anyone, but we'll help, don't worry! We need a Team Manager! Mike has agreed to help make the transition to a new team manager. If you are not already volunteering for a position -- please consider taking this job on! If you have any questions about what all is involved, contact Mike Markowitz.
SUMMER PRACTICES
There was an interest in holding July and August practices. Paul is checking on field availability. Watch for an email announcement.
SEASON PRACTICES
Primary practice will be Saturday afternoons. Time TBD depending on field availability but it should be at the same time each week. It will be a light practice giving the girls a chance to prepare for their Sunday game. Those able will have an opportunity for a week day practice. Options include:
Practicing with Coach Dave's oldest team; Practicing with Dan Wonderly's boys team on Tuesday or Friday or; Dan Wonderly will hold a Fusion practice on Wednesday afternoons. This too will be decided - the goal being for as many girls as possible to practice together.
TOURNAMENTS
Summer tournament will be SYA August 16 & 17. We will not do an end of the season tournament but we will do a preseason for Spring, TBD.
WINTER
There was discussion about winter conditioning, practice and the variety of options. TBD once it is clear who will be available.
SOCIALS
Sarah Ide volunteered to organize a summer social event for the girls so they can have a chance to get to know each other.
